Web Designer in Timisoara
We are an award winning international travel company, looking for someone to help us improve our websites.
Initially a three month full time contract working from our Timisoara office, with our UK based sales and marketing team on a variety of web projects, with the possibility to extend or gain a permanent position.
This is a great opportunity for someone with web experience to work on, and be responsible for, some diverse web projects including the transfer of an existing website into a new CMS and help “re-launch” it.
Once the website has been transferred you will work with the web development, sales and marketing teams to improve the current design, presentation and SEO as well as developing a series of new content and sections.
The company has a number of domains that require brochure / information style websites designing and developing from scratch, though only one is planned in the first instance.
You must have good eye for detail, great communication skills and be able to show you can update, manage and develop the content, widgets/modules and images of the websites to the right standard. The ideal candidate would have gained experience with the following:
• CMS, preferably DotNetNuke (DNN)
• Photoshop
• Acrobat / PDF creation
• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript
• A working knowledge of SEO in website design, web analytics and reporting
• Copywriting and / or copyediting.
You should have a working knowledge of English, be able to show examples of previous web design and content management work and have preferably worked within an e-commerce environment.
You should be prepared to travel to the UK to work with our sales and marketing teams if requested.
